H-shaped steel is divided into wide flange, middle flange and narrow flange H-shaped steel according to the flange width. Different types of products have different models. The more commonly used specifications are as follows
1. Wide flange H-shaped steel (hw) model specifications: Common wide flange H-shaped steel model specifications are usually expressed by web height multiplied by flange width, generally including 100x100, 125x125, 150x150, 175x175, 250x250, 300x300, 350x350 and other models. Representation method: Wide flange H-shaped steel model is usually expressed by web height (H) × flange width (B) × web thickness (t1) × flange thickness (t2), usually showing the characteristics of the same height dimension and width dimension.
2. Middle flange H-beam (hm) model specifications: Common middle flange H-beam model specifications are usually expressed by web height multiplied by flange width, mainly including 150x100, 200x150, 250x175, 300x200, 350x250, 400x300, 450x300, 500x300 and other models. Representation method: The middle flange H-beam model is expressed as web height (H) × flange width (B) × web thickness (t1) × flange thickness (t2). Usually, its height dimension is different from its width dimension, showing the characteristic that the height is slightly greater than the width.
3. Narrow flange H-beam (hn) model specifications: Common narrow flange H-beam models are usually expressed by web height multiplied by flange width, mainly including 100x50, 125x60, 150x75, 175x90, 200x100, 250x125, 300x150, 350x175, 400x200, 500x200 and other models. The narrow flange H-beam model is expressed as web height (H) × flange width (B) × web thickness (t1) × flange thickness (t2). Usually, its height dimension is larger and its width dimension is smaller, showing the characteristics of a larger height-to-width ratio.
