1.H beam is an
economical cross-section and high-efficiency profile, also known as wide-flange
I beam. The inner and outer sides of the flanges are parallel or nearly
parallel, and the ends are at right angles, thus it is named parallel-flange I beam.
The thickness of the web is smaller than that of ordinary I beams, while the
width of the flanges is larger. Its section modulus, moment of inertia, and
strength are superior to those of ordinary I beams with the same unit weight.
2.It has a strong load-bearing capacity and can save 10% - 40% of metal. It is
convenient for assembly and combination, and can save about 25% of the welding
and riveting work, accelerating the construction speed of the project. All
parts are arranged at right angles, giving it strong bending resistance in all
directions. During rolling, the elongation at each point of the cross-section
is uniform, and the internal stress is small.
3.H beam is Mainly
used for beams and columns in civil and industrial building structures, such as
long-span industrial plants and high-rise buildings; In the industrial field,
it is used for bearing supports, pipe supports, etc. It is also used in large
Bridges, heavy equipment, highways, ship skeleton, mine support, foundation
treatment and dam engineering.
