Product Description
Stranded wire is a steel product composed of multiple stranded steel wires. The surface of carbon steel can be added with galvanized layer, zinc-aluminum alloy layer, aluminum cladding, copper cladding and epoxy coating as needed.
Commonly used steel strands are galvanized steel strands and prestressed steel strands. The diameter of commonly used prestressed steel strands is between 9.53 mm and 17.8 mm, and a small number of steel strands have a thicker diameter. Each prestressed steel strand generally has 7 steel wires, but there are also 2, 3 and 19 steel wires. The steel wires can be coated with metal or non-metallic anti-corrosion layers. Coating with anti-corrosion grease or paraffin and then coated with HDPE is called unbonded prestressed steel strand.
