Product Description
Oil quenching and tempering spring steel wire is the quenching medium used when spring steel wire is quenched, not the commonly used water medium.
Spring steel wire is a kind of steel wire used to make spring or steel wire shapes. According to the different uses of springs, there are many types of spring wires required to make springs, such as spring wires for mattress springs (referred to as mattress wires) with low requirements, spring wires for shock absorbers, spring wires for suspension springs, spring wires for engine valves and spring wires for camera shutters, etc., although there is no unified standard classification name, the quality requirements of these wires are different. Spring steel wire can also be classified according to the manufacturing process, such as raw drawn spring steel wire (no lead bath quenching treatment before drawing), lead quenched spring steel wire, galvanized spring steel wire, oil quenched spring steel wire, etc.
Quenching oil includes: animal oil (such as lard), vegetable oil (such as rapeseed oil, salad oil), mineral oil (engine oil), semi-synthetic oil (mineral oil plus synthetic oil, that is, various grades of special quenching oil), synthetic oil (synthetic, various grades of special quenching oil).
