Selling Factory Best Selling 20mm Rebar 20 Ft Rebar Steel Rebar
Rebar is the common name for hot-rolled ribbed steel bars. The grade of ordinary hot-rolled steel bars is composed of HRB and the minimum yield point of the grade. H, R, and B are the first letters of the three words "hot rolled", "ribbed", and "bars" respectively.
Hot-rolled ribbed steel bars are divided into three grades according to the new national standard: HRB400, HRB500, and HRB600.
There are two commonly used classification methods for rebar: one is classification by geometric shape, which is classified or typed according to the cross-sectional shape of the transverse ribs and the different spacing between the ribs. For example, in the British Standard (BS4449), rebar is divided into Type I and Type II. This classification method mainly reflects the gripping performance of rebar. The second is classification by performance (grade). For example, in my country's current implementation standard, rebar is (GB1499.2-2024), which divides rebar into 3 grades according to the strength level (yield point/tensile strength); in the Japanese Industrial Standard (JI SG3112), rebar is divided into 5 types according to comprehensive performance; in the British Standard (BS4461), several grades of rebar performance tests are also specified. In addition, rebar can also be classified according to its use, such as ordinary steel bars for reinforced concrete and heat-treated steel bars for prestressed concrete.
