Product Description
The high carbon steel wire galvanizing process can be performed with or without heat treatment. When combined with lead quenching, the wire speed is generally limited to DV=100 due to the length and cost of the galvanizing furnace. Without heat treatment, our galvanizing lines are designed to have fast wire speeds and are suitable for advanced nitrogen wiping. Some traditional production lines use lead bath furnaces to "burn off" or remove wire drawing lubricant powder; our current more environmentally friendly solution is to use electrolytic assisted pre-cleaning systems for production.
Two types of wire meshes: galvanized steel wire. Galvanized steel wire mesh is made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire, processed by precision automation machinery technology and electric welding. The phenomenon of galvanizing (hot-dip galvanizing) after the steel wire mesh is formed has good corrosion resistance, and has advantages that general steel wire mesh does not have. It can be used as an exterior wall insulation series.
Galvanized steel wire: the difference between cold-dip galvanized steel wire and hot-dip galvanized steel wire.
Cold-dip galvanized steel wire is commonly known as electro-galvanized, and the electro-galvanized layer is generally thinner. Hot-dip galvanizing is to form an alloy layer on the surface of the steel wire through thermal diffusion, and then attach a layer of pure zinc. Generally, the galvanized layer is thicker.
Galvanizing belongs to anodic protection. The thicker the galvanized layer, the better. The amount of zinc applied is expressed in grams per square meter. The larger the number, the better.
Galvanized steel wire rope is anti-corrosive by galvanizing, and phosphating steel wire rope improves wear resistance and corrosion resistance by phosphating film.
