Global crude steel production declines 3.4% YoY in February 2025
In February 2025, crude steelproduction in the world's 69 worldSteel Countries included in the worldsteel statistics was 144.7 million tonnes, down 3.4% year-on-year.
In February 2025, Africa's crude steel output will be 1.9 million tons, an increase of 7.6% year-on-year; The crude steel output of Asia and Oceania was 107.3 million tons, down 2.6% year-on-year; The crude steel output of the European Union (27 countries) was 10.1 million tons, down 7.1% year-on-year; The crude steel output of other European countries was 3.3 million tons, down 9.7% year-on-year; The crude steel output in the Middle East was 3.7 million tons, down 11.5% year-on-year; North America's crude steel output was 8.2 million tons, down 6.3% year-on-year; Russia and other CIS countries Ukraine's crude steel output was 6.7 million tons, down 1.9% year-on-year; South America's crude steel output was 3.4 million tons, down 3.2% year-on-year.
