1. Common Models & Specifications

Steel rebars are categorized by grade, size, and surface pattern (e.g., ribbed for better concrete adhesion):

  • Standard Sizes: Φ6mm, Φ8mm, Φ10mm, Φ12mm up to Φ40mm.

  • Grades:

    • HRB400 (Hot-Rolled Ribbed Bar): Yield strength of 400MPa.

    • HRB500: High-strength grade (500MPa), used in heavy construction.

    • Epoxy-Coated Rebars: Corrosion-resistant for coastal projects.

2. Materials & Composition

  • Carbon Steel: Primary material (e.g., HRB400 with 0.25% carbon).

  • Alloy Steel: Added manganese (Mn), silicon (Si) for enhanced strength (HRB500).

  • Stainless Steel: Grades like 316LN for extreme environments (e.g., chemical plants).

3. Key Applications

Construction: Reinforcing concrete in buildings, bridges, and highways.
Infrastructure: Critical for dams, tunnels, and seismic-resistant structures.
Industrial: Foundations for machinery and power plants.
Green Energy: Wind turbine bases and solar farm installations.
