Uses of I-beams:
I-beams are widely used in various building structures, bridge engineering, machinery manufacturing and other fields. The following are the main uses of I-beams:
1. Building structures: I-beams are mainly used in industrial plants, bridges, transportation equipment, steel structure platforms, support structures, etc.
2. Manufacturing: I-beams are used to manufacture cranes, conveyors, excavators, forklifts and other machinery manufacturing fields.
3. Other fields: It can also be used to manufacture water conservancy equipment, mining support, metallurgical equipment, etc.
◆Application performance
①I-beams, with high strength and toughness, are often used to bear the main stress-bearing parts of steel structures. I-beams have stable performance and can be combined into the main body of steel structures through processing, such as cold bending, cutting, welding, etc. The standard specifications of I-beams have been widely used in steel structure projects.
②I-beams (Q345) are low-alloy materials. Their strength, toughness, plasticity, corrosion resistance and weather resistance are stronger than ordinary carbon materials. They are generally used in work with higher stress requirements, or higher plasticity requirements, or relatively special environmental operations, such as low temperature and highly corrosive environments.
