Product Description
The spiral ribbed steel strand for prestressed concrete is made of spiral ribbed steel wires, and is a reinforcement steel used in prestressed concrete structures in the construction industry. The steel strand is made of two, three, or seven steel wires, and the steel wire used to make the steel strand is a steel wire with spiral ribs. The spiral rib steel wire has 3 to 6 raised trapezoidal spiral ribs on the surface that are wound in parallel. The spiral rib width is 0.80mm to 3.00mm, the spiral rib height is 0.20mm to 0.50mm, and the spiral lead is 24mm to 58mm. The spiral ribbed steel strand overcomes the shortcomings of poor bond strength between standard steel strands and concrete and poor mechanical properties of notched steel strands, and maintains the advantages of both.
Classification of high-strength prestressed steel strands
According to the number of steel wires in a steel strand, it can be divided into: 2-wire steel strand, 3-wire steel strand, 7-wire steel strand and 19-wire steel strand.
According to the surface morphology, it can be divided into: smooth steel strand (uncoated), notched steel strand, die-drawn steel strand (compact), galvanized prestressed steel strand, epoxy resin coated prestressed steel strand, etc.
